The VISIBLES MMXXV project, based on an international photography competition, creates through an exhibition a platform to highlight the work of women photographers living in conflict zones and in countries facing social and humanitarian crises.

ArtWorks Open Prize Award Show

Fine artists working in 2D and 3D media are invited to submit work for the ArtWorks Open Prize Award Show. This annual platform supports emerging and mid-career UK artists, awarding cash prizes, exhibitions, and residencies. With Joseph and Piper as selectors, the 2025 show will likely showcase diverse, socially engaged art that foregrounds identity, dialogue, and impact.

2026 SummerWorks Performance Festival

SummerWorks invites artists and creative collaborators to submit performance proposals for its 2026 Festival and year-round programming. 25AV Residency Programme

25AV invites artistic collaboration projects and collectives from across Europe(+) to apply for the 25AV Residency Programme, a pan-European platform for collaborative artistic production in the fields of media art, sound, performance, and audiovisual experimentation.
Funded by the Creative Europe Programme 25AV fosters dialogue and exchange among emerging and early-career artists through a network of residencies in five European cities: Brussels, Milan, Munich, Brno & Athens.

Mega Mega Mega Curator

Havering London is seeking a curator for Mega Mega Mega - an ambitious exhibition project preserving and celebrating Romford's contributions to London's electronic music and club culture heritage from the 80s-2000s.
The successful candidate will be responsible for realising their curatorial vision, designing a community engagement strategy, commercial aspects of the project and with the leadership of the Havering London team you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of a permanent archival collection.
Eligibility: Professional and/or lived experience in club culture - including working in the clubbing industry, promoting parties, as a musician, DJ, or as an active participant in the scene. Demonstrable curatorial experience with a strong portfolio of successful exhibitions, projects or events. Knowledge of London's club culture and electronic music history including Romford’s contributions. Experience in engaging public audiences. Strong project management skills with ability to meet deadlines and budgets. Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.

SEESAW presents CUSP, a free 6-month long residency programme launching January 2026. They are connecting a group of artists, or offering to host an arts collective or small arts organisation, to partner with them from one of their studio spaces. The project is being established as a way of connecting with artists within their community.
Eligibility: SEESAW are committed to supporting artists and small creative businesses, particularly in the limbo stage between emerging and professional, who would benefit from having a space where they can expand upon their existing practice. They're looking for someone who would value the resources they can offer to help further their experience and creative network.
What You Get: This residency will be a collaboration between both parties. They provide a space for your practice or business and you help them through creative opportunities within SEESAW to help them improve their community, building and spaces. This should be a mutual partnership, where both can benefit from working together.
Real Illusions – 2025 London Contemporary Art Review Exhibition

Panorama #9

Panorama continues its journey with renewed energy: it broadens its horizons without losing the essence of its beginnings: support for emerging artists. The ninth edition will culminate in a collective exhibition taking place in December 2025, conceived as a space for visibility, experimentation, and professionalisation. Selected artists will have the opportunity to showcase their work, introduce it to the market, and establish a first direct contact with the gallery world.
Who can apply: The call is aimed at emerging artists and artist collectives, with no restrictions on nationality or origin. In the case of collectives, a spokesperson must be designated.

Curatorial Research Fellowship 2026

In partnership, the Charles Wallace India Trust (CWIT), the Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A), and the Alkazi Foundation for the Arts (AFA), collectively announce the second visiting Curatorial Research Fellowship.
The Fellowship will be based in the V&A’s Photography Section at South Kensington in London lasting 3-6 months. They look forward to receiving proposals for research relating to the V&A’s photography collections as well as details about existing curatorial interests of the applicants.
Who can apply: This Fellowship is for Indian citizens who are domiciled in India. They invite proposals from mid-career cultural producers between the ages of 25 and 45 years including artists, scholars, writers/editors and curators, working independently or affiliated to art institutions.
What you get: The Fellowship will enable the recipient to conduct research at the Museum, as well as assist in the Photography Section’s ongoing projects.
The Hopper Prize Artist Grants

The Hopper Prize invites submissions from artists worldwide for grants of $4,500 (2 available) and $1,000 (4 available). Open to all media.

Solitude Fellowships 2026–2028

Akademie Schloss Solitude is accepting applications for its residential fellowships for the period 2026–2028. International artists, researchers, and cultural professionals from all disciplines will have the opportunity to apply for a six- or nine-month fellowship.
Who can apply: International artists and scientists can apply for a fellowship in the following spheres of practice: VISUAL (Fine Arts & Film/Video), AURAL & PHYSICAL (Music/Sound & Performing Arts), SPATIAL (Architecture & Design), TEXTUAL (Literature & Language), DIGITAL (New Media Art & Digital Art) and SCIENTIFIC (Humanities & Applied Sciences). The program is open to individuals with two to ten years of independent practice after completing their training, regardless of age. Collectives of up to two people may apply, provided they have been working together for at least two years. Not eligible are applicants still in training or studies (except for PhD candidates), as well as those holding a permanent professorship. Working languages are German and/or English (house language: English).
What you get: The fellowship includes: a 6- or 9-month residency in Stuttgart, a monthly fellowship of €1,300, a furnished live/work studio incl. utilities, a one-time travel allowance for arrival and departure.
The Pastel Society Annual Exhibition 2026

Artists are invited to submit work in pastel and other dry media for the Pastel Society’s 127th Annual Exhibition, proudly sponsored by Caran d’Ache.
This call welcomes artists working with pastel, pencil, charcoal, crayon, chalk and beyond. The exhibition seeks bold, inventive and expressive work that challenges preconceptions about pastel and dry media, and celebrates their creative potential today.
At the heart of the show is the direct touch of dry media. As the Society notes, “the joy of dry media is its ability to transmit feeling through the hand directly onto paper. The touch is evident and powerful.”
Who can apply:
Artists aged 18 or over, anywhere in the world. Work must be recent (within two years), under 2.4m, and not previously shown at Mall Galleries.
Acceptable media:
All types of pastel including soft pastel, hard pastel, oil pastel, ink pastel, water-based pastel, conté crayons or sticks, sanguine, and other dry mediums that are similar in their application including charcoal, chalk, and pencil. Mixed media and three-dimensional works are welcome where pastel or another dry media is the primary medium.

Selected artists will have time, space, and local support to develop ambitious works inspired by oceans, rivers, basins, and ecological relationships. 2026 Artist/ Scholar Residency at the JRSP

The University of Victoria & Jeffrey Rubinoff Sculpture Park Artist Scholar Residency was created by an interinstitutional partnership and their unwavering belief in cultivating the arts. This Residency is for artists and scholars seeking space to focus on creating a work for exhibition or publication that is informed by their investigation of Rubinoff’s work and their experience working at the sculpture park.
Eligibility: Professional Artists and Distinguished Scholars
What You Get: All travel, food, and accommodation will be covered by the residency, along with a budget to cover materials and shipping (if applicable). The awardee will receive a stipend of $5,000 (CAD) in addition to the covered costs. The awardee will have access to on-site facilities including: library, interpretive center, studio, the sculpture park itself. The awardee will conclude the residency with a showcase of their works in Victoria in addition to university engagement within the Fine Arts Departments.

Artist Call Out: Co-design ironwork panels for International Slavery Museum entrance pavilion

Communities Producer

The NewBridge Project are looking for a Communities Producer to work collaboratively with our staff team, neighbours and artists.
Eligibility: They are keen to meet candidates who share NewBridge’s values and commitment to supporting the artists and communities they work with. The NewBridge Project are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and organised, excellent at project management, who centres access and inclusivity, is a good listener and can communicate with lots of different people.

The Communities Producer will deliver our regular neighbourhood programme; and will support the development of new projects and longer-term public commissions as part of our wider public programme. Whanganui x Dundee: Textile Legacies

Whanganui X Dundee: Textile Legacies is a residency programme that connects indigenous and ancestral textile practices between Whanganui, New Zealand and Dundee, Scotland to foster meaningful cultural and creative exchange.
Eligibility: This opportunity is open to practicing designers and design specialists working within textiles and/or connected fields. Applicants must live, work or have a studio located within a DD postcode (for example, DD1 1DB).
What You Get: The resident will be provided with a stipend of £560.00 per week, totalling £2,240.00 for the residency’s duration. This will be paid in full, in advance of the resident travelling to New Zealand by UNESCO City of Design Dundee. Accommodation and travel are also covered in full by UNESCO City of Design Dundee.
Don Bachardy Fellowship

The Don Bachardy Fellowship offers one gifted and dedicated post-graduate international artist the opportunity to join the Royal Drawing School in London for one term. The Fellow will spend 3 full days a week for ten weeks drawing alongside students on the school’s Drawing Year as well as students on the public programme courses. Artists are also provided with a shared studio space, mentoring sessions, tutorials and the opportunity to attend the school’s lecture series. To assist with travel and accommodation costs the artist is awarded a stipend of $5,000.
Eligibility: The Don Bachardy Fellowship is open to international artists who have studied at MA level. Applications are open to artists who have not studied or lived in the UK before.

Lead Artist for Seated in Nature

Eastleigh Borough Council is inviting submissions from Artists or an Artist Collective to deliver co-created artistic seating. This project aims to use funding available to commission permanent artistic seating for Boorley Green and Botley, Hedge End and West End.
Eligibility: The Appointed Artist will be expected to have a demonstrable track record of delivering Public Art projects and have valid Public Liability Insurance of not less than £2,000,000.00. The Appointed Artist can be any nationality but must have the legal right to work in the UK.
What You Get: A commission budget of £65,000 is available to the Appointed Artist to cover all costs including fee for approximately 33-40 days work.

Stomping Ground 2026 Commission Callout

Stomping Ground is a commissioning group comprised of Citymoves, Creative Crawley, FABRIC, FESTIVAL.ORG, Pagrav Dance Company, Strike A Light, The Place and Tramway. They are looking to commission a short dance solo or duet tourable to primary schools, festivals and other public spaces around the country.
Eligibility: UK-based artists, be applying for a work with a strong and distinctive movement element - they welcome applications from dance artists as well as artists from other disciplines who use movement in their practice, have previous experience of making and touring high quality work in different contexts, not apply with a work that has been submitted to Stomping Ground before unless it’s had further development since applying and not currently be in education (unless at PhD level)
What you get: The selected piece will receive a £20,000 commission, up to 2 weeks of studio space in kind at The Place, guidance on producing outdoor work for children, and performance opportunities with the commissioning partners. The piece will be co-produced by The Place as part of The Playground 2026, and go on a 5-week tour around schools and family festivals. The Stomping Ground partners may offer presentation opportunities which will be negotiated with the commissioned artists, and which will be subject to additional touring fees. Artists are not expected to raise additional match funding.

Suture Zone's inaugural project is the presentation of contemporary, reactionary art to the times we live in. This call is for artists to step up and fulfill their duty as harbingers of truth and guardians of cultural history. Suture Zone is looking for ‟art as a weapon" responding to the current cultural and social climate around them.
