Most creative work doesn't stall because the idea is weak, it stalls because the idea hasn't been edited. Creative strategy is where we slow down and think clearly about what you're making, why it matters now, and what to do with it. It's where a vague "what if?" becomes a considered "here's what this is." Bids, commissions, programmes, next steps, they all work better when the thinking has been done first.

Strategy Sessions

For a specific question, a new opportunity on the horizon, or a second eye on an idea before you commit. You bring the material; we work through it together. You leave with clearer direction and, usually, a shortlist of next moves.

Development Partnership

A multi-session engagement for artists and collectives working through something bigger: a new body of work, a major project, a change of direction, or the run-up to a significant funding round. Lara meets regularly over weeks or months, and holds the thinking between sessions so you don't have to. Funding support can sit inside this engagement if and when it becomes useful.
